You can dress it up or down. I wore sneakers with it to a concert. The split is to the hip you would have to turn the skirt to the side to get that look. I got many compliments on it.

I usually wear a small I went 2 sizes up and it fit perfectly. I don’t feel confident that a medium would have fit better, so I’m happy I purchased a large. The skirt is versatile, can be dressed up or stay casual as I did. I’m 5’1 and it was the perfect length.
